Description: NAUI Basic Open Water I Scuba Certification for beginning divers. This is the initial phase of training required for beginning scuba diving.
The course will consist of 3 separate weekend events until all classroom, pool and open water certification dives are completed. The class includes the necessary classroom, pool, check out diving facilities, equipment and possible lodging.
These classes are discount priced through TARS and are offered at this discounted rate to train additional divers for agencies.

Food & Lodging: The Blount County Rescue Squad has offered their station for up to 6 students who would require overnight lodging. This is solely on a first come first serve basis and dependent on scheduling with BCRS.
Food is the responsibility of the student.
Notes: This class will take place over a period of 3 weekend dates. Students must attend all dates and complete all skills in order to attain certification.
Dates for this class are as follows: August 4-5 classroom August 11-12 pool August 18-19 check-out dives.
